Liturgical Ministers

 

Lectors

Lectors proclaim the scripture readings at Mass.  Training is required and provided.

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers are invited to assist in the distribution of Holy Communion at weekend liturgies and to the ill and elderly.  Training is provided.

Ushers and Greeters

Men, women and families provide hospitality and welcome to all who assemble for liturgies.   Greeters welcome people as they arrive for Mass.  Users assists people as they find a seat for Mass, Distribute collections baskets, organize gift bearers and facilitate the flow of Holy Communion. Training is provided.

Altar Serving

Boys and girls (5th grade and older) and adults assist the Presider.  Training is offered and provided.

Music Ministry

Adult and youth choir members, cantors, and instrumentalists lead the assembly in song selections.  The Resurrection Choir leads the assembly at Masses of Christian Burial.  Weekly rehearsals provided.   

Church Decorations

This ministry calls for help to plan, prepare and create an artistic environment for liturgical seasons and special parish events. Training provided.

Sacristans

The Sacristans help with laundering and care of linens and candles.

Rosary Leaders

Rosary leaders are needed to lead the Rosary before each Mass.
